Morse Family Photos

We went out with the Morse Family on July 3rd for a family photo session.  We were luck to have Alex in from Nebraska to complete the family.  We did our session at Fox Run Regional Park just North of Colorado Springs.  After a 20 minute rain shower the sun came out and we had a good time trying to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time.  Tim from Image Factory was there for technical advice and help with the reflector.  I've posted a few samples from the session.  Thanks for visiting.

Jen and Todd's engagement session

I did an engagement session yesterday afternoon with Jen and Todd.  We met at a local park here in the Springs and had a great time taking pictures.  Even though the weather was cloudy we didn't let that damper the mood.  The wedding is fast approaching (July 19th).  If yesterday was any indication it should be a fun time.  Thanks for visiting.

May Wedding

I got out this weekend with Image Factory Photography and shot a wedding at
Mystic Meadows Event Center South of Colorado Springs.  The ceremony was held outside on the property and the weather was perfect.  Tim is an Army Officer recently returned from a Tour of duty in Iraq.  He looked pretty sharp in his Mess Dress uniform.  Thanks for visiting. 

Garden of the Gods

We had a great time this afternoon at Garden of the Gods Park.   We were there to shoot senior pictures for Christianne before she graduates next month.  We were having so much fun the rest of the family joined in.

4 Month Pictures

My neighbor asked me to do a quick photo session for her last weekend.  Her daughter recently turned 4 months old and she needed photos for cards.  We had a 20 good shots to choose from and finally landed on this one.

Maternity Session

A few weeks ago Kimberlee and I decided to shoot some maternity shots.  Tim from Image Factory Photography offered up his studio for us.  We had a good time and were able to get several poses in before we called it quits.  Overall they came out pretty well.  I think we'll do another session as Kimberlee gets closer to delivery.

Drill Weekend

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I spent the weekend with the National Guard down at Ft Carson.  We conducted weapons qualification for the entire unit.  We had a perfect Colorado day with temperatures in the mid 50s with a lot of sun and of course a lot of wind.  I took about 900 photos throughout the day.  I noticed my reflection in the glasses of one of the soldiers, so I took a few photos.  If you look closely, you'll see me on the right and the mountains off in the distance.  I hope to post more in the coming days as I get some free time.  Thanks for visiting.
